Quantities: 1 cup of jareesh , 2 pieces of onion , 2 cups of yogurt , 1 spoon of salt , 1 spoon of cumin , 3 pieces of hot red chili ,4 cups of hot water , 2 spoons of butter Preparation way : 1 - Clean jareesh and filter it well . 2 – cut onion to small pieces ; then fry it to become as color as golden , add 4 cups of hot water and jareesh , after that leave them for 15 minutes on low heat . 3 – add yogurt to jareesh, mix them well “ by using a wooden spoon ”. 4 – add salt , cover the bowl for 15 minutes , then you can notice that Jareesh has begun to absorb yogurt , so you can add cumin and red hot chili . 5 – cover the bowl again and leave for 2½ an hour on a low heat “ with attention every period ” .When it cooked and absorb all yogurt and its kernels become mushy ; melt a spoon of butter and add red hot chili ,Stir them for a minute . 6 – pour Jareesh into plate and offer it with butter and hot chili .
